The fourth instalment of Textures of the Australian Bush covers Anna Creek Station. Anna Creek Station is the largest Cattle Station (Ranch) in the world. It is roughly 6 million acres or 24,000 square kilometres. They muster with planes as the property is so large it exceeds the range of helicopters.
While at William Creek, The Doc and 2 adventurers took a 2 hour flight over Lake Eyre, Anna Creek Station and the Painted Hills (different from the Painted Desert). Our pilot was the pint sized Sarah from WrightAir.
The photos were taken through perspex, so there are the occasional reflections and quality also suffers.
These images are of Anna Creek Station minus Lake Eyre and the Painted Hills. Enjoy.
What extraordinary colours and textures!
