A couple of pictures from the Tenterfield trip.

From Gundbooka National Park, the back of Bourke!

A couple of image The Doc missed and regrets it. The red rump was too close in once it flew off the the perch, the robin The Doc missed composition and focus (on the head). Must click on the image to see it all.

Considered by some to be the most beautiful Australian parrot, the Major Mitchell Cockatoo at Gundabooka NP. It s certainly one of the most stunning. Click on photo to see full size image.

A selection of Long-tailed finches from The Doc’s trip to Mornington Sanctuary, The Kimberley in 2015.

The Doc could not get close to the Red-backed Fairy-wren, even in full camouflage gear. It turns the images cropped nicely, so here are two images.

The same bee-eater and perch at Lennox continues to deliver. From today, enjoy.

Some Red-kneed Dotterels from Gundabooka National Park on the recent adventure. Enjoy.

Not the favourite bird of bee-keepers.

Map of the recent birding trip.
